With an extensive education background, he has completed numerous courses and qualifications ranging from Z-Health methodologies to the Poliquin BioSignature system, giving him a deep, well-rounded understanding of human performance and health.

Ben specialises in hormone imbalance management, with a strong focus on building healthy, sustainable habits that support a resilient endocrine system. He is particularly passionate about helping individuals navigate hormonal changes through day-to-day life and during the menopause, empowering them with practical, evidence-based strategies.

Highly knowledgeable in human biomechanics, Ben practices what he teaches. As a competitive runner and HYROX athlete, he understands firsthand the demands placed on the body and the vital role of strength training in performance, longevity, and maintaining a high quality of life well into later years.

Jess, a personal trainer at Peak Fitness

Jess Hyde

Personal Trainer

Jess is a dedicated personal trainer and Level 5 soft tissue therapist with a passion for empowering clients to achieve their fitness goals while prioritising injury prevention and overall well-being. Since 2014, she has developed a strong depth of expertise, specialising in biomechanics and female health, supported by valuable experience working with physiotherapists.

Driven by a holistic approach to health and performance, Jess integrates mobility work and breathwork techniques seamlessly into her coaching. This approach not only builds physical strength but also supports mental resilience, helping clients feel stronger, more capable, and more connected to their bodies.

Beyond personal training, Jess brings a clinical edge to her coaching through her work as a Level 5 soft tissue therapist. She provides rehabilitation support for clients experiencing pain, as well as sports massage as a preventative measure for athletes and active individuals looking to stay pain-free and perform at their best.

Her hybrid approach — combining holistic training, sports-specific performance, and clinical rehabilitation practices — makes Jess a uniquely impressive asset to the Peak Fitness team.

Jamie Routledge

Jamie has been a trainer at Peak Fitness since 2018 and is driven by helping people feel fitter, stronger, and younger through a wide variety of training methods, always adapting his coaching to suit the individual.

His coaching experience spans strength training, Olympic lifting, circuit-based workouts, and endurance training. Jamie also organises and actively participates in the Peak Fitness Run Club, helping to build a strong sense of community alongside physical performance.

Jamie has a wide range of experience, coaching everyone from young athletes in professional sports environments to wheelchair-based users, making his approach both inclusive and adaptable. As a competitive powerlifter for over eight years, he has developed a deep understanding of strength and performance, while remaining eager to expand into other areas of fitness such as running, HYROX, and CrossFit.

Jamie takes great pride in how his clients move, believing that accurate, high-quality movement is essential for both performance and longevity. His energetic and passionate approach reflects his philosophy of working smart rather than simply working hard, being kind to yourself, and enjoying the process while building sustainable, long-term results.

Cory has over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry and has been a key part of Peak Fitness since joining in 2019. Known as a highly process-driven coach, Cory has meticulously refined and perfected his coaching systems to deliver clear, measurable results for every client.

Using precise and evidence-led methodologies, Cory creates truly bespoke coaching pathways, underpinned by an in-depth understanding of human biomechanics and the psychological behaviours that drive long-term success. This combination allows him to tailor training not only to how the body moves, but also to how individuals think, adapt, and stay consistent.

Cory’s coaching experience spans elite-level performance to community sport, from training professional NFL American footballers in the United States to supporting grassroots rugby players at local clubs. His breadth of experience is a testament to his adaptability and expertise.

Zak is a dedicated personal trainer with a genuine passion for helping people feel better in their bodies and improve both their fitness and overall quality of life. He understands that everyone’s journey is different, especially during challenging times when it can feel like your body is working against you—whether through the natural process of ageing, the changes that come with menopause, or periods of low confidence and motivation.

With a strong foundation of knowledge and hands-on experience, Zak takes a supportive, empathetic approach to training. He focuses not just on physical results, but on helping clients rebuild trust in their bodies, move with confidence, and feel stronger both mentally and physically.

Zak believes fitness should enhance your life, not overwhelm it. An exceptional endurance athlete, Zak has completed both a 100km run and a 100-mile ultra marathon for charity. James Vickers

James joined the Peak Fitness family in 2020 after graduating from Worcester University with a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Psychology. With over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, James specialises in mastering the fundamental principles of weight loss and muscle gain through intelligent resistance training, sustainable nutritional changes, and evidence-based coaching.

Known for his calm and focused coaching style, James is the true specialist in body transformation at Peak Fitness. He doesn’t just coach the process — he has lived it himself, having achieved and maintained an impressive 10% body fat, giving him first-hand insight into what it takes to reach elite-level results.

Beyond transformation, James brings a broad and valuable skill set to his coaching. He has years of experience working with physiotherapists to support clients through rehabilitation from injuries ranging from golfer’s elbow to full ACL tears. His approach ensures clients return to training safely, confidently, and often fitter and stronger than they were before injury.

James’s expertise, experience, and commitment to long-term results make him a key part of the Peak Fitness team and a trusted coach for clients looking to transform their bodies and performance.
