Frequently asked
What do I get with my personal training sessions?

Methodical, proven training techniques tailored to your goals. We take a holistic view of your health, exercise, lifestyle, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, and shape every session around you as an individual.

How many times a week should I train?

It depends on your lifestyle, goals and experience. During your free consultation we'll build a personalised programme and recommend a frequency that's both realistic and effective for you.

Am I too old to exercise?

Not at all. At Peak Fitness we pride ourselves on improving your quality of life, moving accurately regardless of your age and capability.

How do I book sessions?

Booking is easy, by email or over the phone. The best place to start is a free consultation, and we'll take it from there.

What does a consultation include?

A discussion of your training goals and any previous training history, a health check, and choosing the right package for you.

Can my children exercise?

Yes. Training helps children build energy, improve sports performance, maintain a healthy weight and support their mental health. We create age-appropriate programmes for younger clients.

When can I train after surgery or injury?

It varies case by case. Our on-site physiotherapists work alongside your trainer to build a safe, effective return-to-fitness plan, so you progress without setting yourself back.

Why don't my past weight-loss techniques work anymore?

After around 40, hormonal changes, particularly in women, can make older approaches less effective. We build structured plans designed for where your body is now, not where it was.

What type of training helps with menopause?

Resistance training plays a key role, alongside nutrition guidance and holistic exercise, all tailored to your individual experience of menopause and how it's affecting you.

Where do I park?

Free parking in Sainsbury's for up to 2 hours.
